Angie Barton is principal of The Curated Aesthetic (TCA), a marketing and content creation firm located in Dallas, Texas. TCA’s client roster is comprised of creative brands that demand articulate and concise communication, impeccable attention to detail and an elegant approach to expression that stands out in a crowded marketplace.
During her 15+ years in marketing, Angie has specialized in developing inspired and engaging content for brands in the fine arts, luxury and creative industries. After beginning her career in marketing and sales for two leading Fortune 200 companies, she has worked with several prominent brands, including Nasher Sculpture Center, Hermitage Antiques, NorthPark Center, Luxury Garage Sale and LOOK Cinemas, among others. Her project responsibilities have included marketing consultation on all elements of inbound and outbound marketing strategies, as well as strategic partnerships.
Additionally, Barton developed and taught three semesters of Fashion and French Painting in the Continuing Education Program at Southern Methodist University. In 2010, she lectured on the Meadows Museum exhibition, Royal Splendor in the Enlightenment; Charles IV of Spain, Patron and Collector. She was also featured as a guest lecturer at Booker T. Washington School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas.
Angie received a BBA in Management from the University of Mississippi and a MA in Art History from Southern Methodist University. She has served on the Dallas Museum of Art Marketing Committee, the Dallas Museum of Art Jean Paul Gaultier Task Force and the SMU Meadows School of the Arts Alumni Advisory Council. She is a member of the Dallas Alumnae Association of Kappa Kappa Gamma and has served in a variety of positions for the organization and its annual philanthropic event, Kappa Tablescapes.
In her free time, Angie enjoys traveling, visiting museums, playing tennis and golf with her husband, and spending too much time on Pinterest.
